Inconveniences?!
Tristan and I were in charge of a work group from Belize. They were a lovely group to host. They worked hard even though we received about 20 inches of rain that week.

Tristan had been sick with dengue earlier that week so he was grateful for experienced men who could help design and handle the physical part of the work.
The ladies helped make the meals materialize off my planner pages. I couldn't have done it without them.

At the end of that week, we had our Reunion de Senoritas. This time was smaller than most. Our craft class is sewing quilt patches to make a quilt. Seeing the young ladies sit down at the sewing machine and learn how to sew the patches together was so delightful.

The following week we had a youth institute. There were around 120 youth in attendance. It was a blessing to see so many attend. But it can be disheartening seeing out of the 120 only 20 are men. It is difficult for men to join the church and for them to stay faithful. Pray for faithful men!

Thursday was activity day and we went hiking. One of the items we were asked to look for was birds. I think we were the birds of the hike cause I did not see more than one.

Friday morning Tristan and I headed to Belize. We had an absolutely lovely time visiting friends. The main reason for the trip was to renew our visas. That all went so smoothly, thank God! The next time we need to renew our visas, we will fly to the states. :)
When we got back from our Belize trip I got a text from my husband, "How is the house?" Anytime we are gone for a night and return we evaluate the house.
I walked onto the porch and yes the neighborhood cats had done their business all over the porch. Sigh!
I unlock the door and walk into the kitchen the markings of spiders and geckos are present. Good, I see no puddles of water on the floor.
I walk into our bedroom and see nothing major other than spiderwebs and gecko dirt.
Our pilla somehow drained but it would have needed to be cleaned anyway so that's okay.
I am cleaning up my kitchen but need something in my bedroom. I walk over and see water coming through our false ceiling. Never in my life was I so grateful to be home. I only had a little water to clean up then the other time it happened. I thank God!
I message Tristan - "I need drinking water. Can you pick some up for me?" He replies, "They don't have till Thursday." We can drink bags of water from the tienda.
These what could be called inconveniences aren't just something we have. They are normal things that happen. Depending on the day it may bother me more than another. It depends on where I am at in my life. Today it didn't bother me. One factor was I had an encouraging time with friends the last several days.

We all face inconveniences. Yours is most likely different than mine. Whatever it may be, look to God for strength. He is always there to help you.
